THE FOLLOWING AGREEMENT HAVING BEEN SIGNED, IS HEREBY <br />BEING MADE A PART OF THESE MINUTES <br />AGREE14ENT <br />RECEM? ; <br />�dfitl��i'S (}�1C8 ;L <br />This agreement is entered into on this 1st day of day <br />197 3, by and between the Florida Department of Commerce, herein& <br />referred to as the Program Agent, and Indian River County, Florida <br />referred to as the Subgrantee. Now, therefore, in consideration of the <br />premises and of the mutual covenants herein contained, it is hereby <br />Agreed by and between the Program Agent and the Subgrantee as follows: <br />1.- The term of the agreement is from the date of execution as <br />set forth above until-_..,. - June 30 , 1974 <br />2. The awarding of grants and assistance to the Subgrantee is <br />contingent upon and subject to the availability of such resources to <br />the Program Agent from the United States Department of Labor. <br />3. The Subgrantee shall plan and conduct its program in accordance <br />with the regulations promulgated by the Secretary of Labor for the <br />Emergency Employment programs under P.L. 92-54. In particular, the <br />Subgrantee hereby warrants that its Emergency Employment Program as <br />described in the Subgrantee's letter of application and as approved by <br />the Program Agent will be conducted as required by the Federal Register, <br />Title 29, Subtitle A, Part 55, a copy of which is attached to this <br />agreement and incorporated by reference, being made a part of this agreement <br />as though set forth fully herein. <br />4. The Subgrantee shall utilize funds awarded under this agreement <br />to employ qualified and eligible residents of the political subdivision <br />to which the subgrant is made. The.Subgrantee shall use 100% of such <br />funds for purposes of salaries and participant benefits for persons <br />employed under this program. The Subgrantee shall supply 10%.of.the <br />total costs of this program from local,. funds as approved by the Program <br />Agent either in cash or in kind. <br />-5. The Subgrantee shall file such reports as may be required by <br />the Program Agent and shall maintain such financial records as the <br />Program Agent may require in keeping with generally accepted accounting <br />principles. The Subgrantee agrees to submit to audits and inspections <br />upon due.and proper notice by the Program Agent. <br />-38- <br />anoK 17.Wlh:,18 �. <br />JUN 20 1973 <br />
