ORDINANCE NO. 2008- 006 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AMENDING INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />CODE SECTION 102.04 "ORDER OF BUSINESS" <br />TO ADD "INFORMATIONAL ITEMS FROM STAFF <br />OR COMMISSIONERS NOT REQUIRING BOARD <br />ACTION"; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, <br />P ROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND <br />P ROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been <br />empowered by Florida Statute 125 01(1)(a) to adopt rules of procedure; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has by ordinance <br />set the order of business appearing on its regular meeting agenda at Code <br />section 102.04; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has conducted a <br />public hearing on its proposal to add "Informational Items" to its agenda order of <br />business, <br />N OW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA: <br />S ECTION 1. AMENDMENT. <br />Indian River County Code section 102.04, Order of business, is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Section 102.04.
