THE BOARD SUGGESTED THE POSSIBILITY OF THE DRAINAGE <br />DISTRICT WIDENING THE DITCH, <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT STATED THAT THE BOARD SHOULD NOT <br />GRANT APPROVAL OF SUBDIVISIONS THAT HAVE SERIOUS DRAINAGE PROBLEMS. <br />CHAIRMAN Loy STATED THAT THIS MIGHT BE THE PROPER TIME <br />TO ASK THE ADMINISTRATOR AND THE ATTORNEY TO SEEK THE IMMEDIATE <br />COOPERATION OF THE DRAINAGE DISTRICT AND TO SET UP.A MEETING WITH <br />THE INDIAN RIVER FARMS WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT TO DISCUSS THIS <br />PROBLEM. <br />THE BOARD AGREED THAT THE ADMINISTRATOR SHOULD SCHEDULE <br />A MEETING WITH THE DRAINAGE DISTRICT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND. <br />THAT THE SUNVALE SUBDIVISION DRAINAGE, SURVEY BE HELD IN ABEYANCE <br />UNTIL MORE INFORMATION CAN BE OBTAINED. <br />VAL BRENNAN, PLANNING DIRECTOR, APPEARED AND PRESENTED <br />TO THE BOARD INFORMATION REGARDING DEVELOPMENTS OF REGIONAL <br />IMPACT IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY". <br />UNDER SECTION 380.06, FLORIDA STATUTE AND CHAPTER <br />22F OF THE FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, ANY DEVELOPMENTS SUCH AS, <br />AIRPORTS, HOSPITALS, SCHOOLS, INDUSTRIAL PLANTS, AND ALL HOUSING <br />DEVELOPMENTS OF MORE THAN 500 DWELLING.UNITS, MUST BE REVIEWED <br />AND APPROVED BY THE REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL.
