r <br />INSTRUCTIONS.FOR OBTAINING ROAD ABANDONMENTS FROM THE <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />The following things'must be done by the Applicant prior <br />to the Board of County Commissioner's abandoning any road'or <br />part thereof in Indian River County, Florida. <br />1. Submit a written request for abandonment to the <br />County Administrator containing accurate legal <br />description and purpose for which abandonment is <br />being requested. <br />2. The County Administrator will submit the request <br />to=the Board of County Commissioners along with <br />his recommendations. If approved the applicant <br />shall prepare the required resolutions and public <br />notices to be published; (See Florida Statutes <br />336.09 and 336.10) have the resolutions -and notices <br />approved by the County Attorney prior to publica- <br />tion; get the hearing date approved by the County <br />Administrator; publish required notice and pay for <br />same and submit Proof of Publication to the Board; <br />appear at the hearing; if finally approved by the <br />Board of County Commissioners cause final Resolution <br />i <br />to be published and record all notices and Resolutions. <br />3.
