DEVELOPER APPEARED REQUESTING THAT <br />THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ADOPT THESE AMENDMENTS TO THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE, WHICH COULD BE USED AS AN ADDITIONAL <br />TOOL BY WHICH A DEVELOPER COULD BE LIMITED TO THOSE DENSITIES <br />THIS BOARD WISHES TO LIMIT HIM TO. <br />AFTER MUCH DISCUSSION A MOTION WAS MADE BY <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, <br />TO ADOPT ZONING ORDINANCES No.73-9 No. 73-10, N0. 73-11 <br />WHICH ARE AMENDMENTS TO ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 71-3. <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS THEN QUESTIONED THE POSSIBLE <br />NEED FOR ADDITIONAL ZONING ORDINANCES TO COVER DENSITIES OF <br />6 AND 10 UNITS PER ACRE AS THE ZONING ORDINANCES PRESENTED <br />TODAY COVER DENSITIES OF 4, -%. AND 12 UNITS PER ACRE, <br />IT WAS THE DECISION OF THE BOARD THAT THE ORDINANCES <br />PRESENTED TODAY WOULD SUIT THE COUNTY'S NEEDS. <br />LLOYD BERNEGGER, INDIAN RIVER DRIVE, REPRESENTING <br />THE VERO BEACH ASSOCIATION REITERATED THE BEACH ASSOCIATION'S <br />FEELINGS THAT WITHOUT THE MASTER FLAN THESE ZONING ORDINANCES <br />SHOULD NOT BE ADOPTED. <br />THE MOTION WAS THEN PUT TO A VOTE AND THE BOARD <br />UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED THE FOLLOWING ZONING ORDINANCES: <br />-14- <br />seat 17 fu[427 `. <br />
