10 <br />ica <br />PFTER MUCH DISCUSSION A MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY <br />APPROVED INSTRUCTING THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR AND COUNTY ATTORNEY <br />TO MEET WITH INDIAN RIVER FARMS WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT TO WORK <br />OUT AN AGREEMENT, <br />THE BOARD INSTRUCTED THE ATTORNEY AND THE ADMINISTRATOR <br />TO INCLUDE IN THE AGREEMENT A TIME LIMIT OF 10 YEARS FOR THE <br />COUNTY TO BE COMPLETELY FINISHED REMOVING THE DIRT. <br />MIKE JEFFRIES, ATTORNEY REPRESENTING HARRY HYND APPEARED <br />REQUESTING THE BOARD TO CONSIDER_12TH STREET AS AN ALTERNATIVE <br />LOCATION FORA BRIDGE CROSSING THE INDIAN RIVER IF THE 17TH STREET <br />LOCATION FOR A BRIDGE IS NOT SATISFACTORY. <br />MR, JEFFRIES HAS—SUGGESTED THAT THE BOARD WORK WITH THE <br />INTERNAL IMPROVEMENT BOARD IN SEEKING -APPROVAL TO BUILD A BRIDGE <br />AT 12TH STREET IN THE EVENT THE 17TH STREET BRIDGE DOES NOT <br />MATERIALIZE.. <br />THE BOARD INFORMED MR. JEFFRIES THAT THE DEPARTMENT" OF <br />TRANSPORTATION HAS NOT NAMED THE 12TH STREET LOCATION AS AN <br />ALTERNATIVE SELECTION FOR A BRIDGE BUT RATHER HAS STATED THAT <br />THE MERRILL BARBER BRIDGE BE EXPANDED TO FOUR LANES IF THE 17TH <br />STREET LOCATION IS NOT DESIRABLE. <br />COMMISSIONER BOGOSIAN ASKED IF THE 'CITY OF VERO BEACH <br />HAS CONTACTED THE BOARD REGARDING THE PROBLEM THAT HAS ARISEN <br />INVOLVING THE POWER PLANT, <br />CHAIRMAN Loy STATED THAT THE BOARD�HAS RECEIVED A COPY <br />OF ATTORNEY CHARLES BROWNS REPORT FOR THEIR REVIEW AND THE LAST <br />OFFICIAL INFORMATION FROM THE CITY OF VERO BEACH WAS A RESOLUTION <br />ACCEPTING THE BOARDS DECISION FOR THE 17TH STREET LOCATION OF'Z <br />I <br />ABRIDGE CROSSING THE INDIAN RIVER. <br />THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR INFORMED THE BOARD OF A <br />REQUEST'FOR AN EXTENSION OF TENTATIVE APPROVAL FOR INDIAN RIVER. <br />AERODROME SUBDIVISION.
