ORDINANCE NO. 2005- 019 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FOR APPROXIMATELY 2.61 <br />ACRES LOCATED EAST OF INDIAN RIVER DRIVE AND APPROXIMATELY 650 FEET <br />NORTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF US HIGHWAY # 1 AND INDIAN RIVER DRIVE FROM <br />CG, GENERAL COMMERCIAL, DISTRICT TO CON -1, CONSERVATION -1 DISTRICT (0 <br />DENSITY)• AND AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING <br />ZONING MAP FOR APPROXIMATELY 6.69 ACRES ADJACENT TO THE OSLO <br />RIVERFRONT CONSERVATION AREA AND THE SOUTH OSLO CONSERVATION AREA, <br />LOCATED SOUTH OF OSLO ROAD AND APPROXIMATELY 600 FEET EAST OF U.S. <br />HIGHWAY #1, FROM RM -6, MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (UP TO 6 <br />UNITS/ACRE), AND RS -6, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (UP TO 6 <br />UNITS/ACRE), TO CON -1, CONSERVATION (0 UNITS/ACRE); AND PROVIDING <br />CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on <br />such matters, held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this <br />rezoning request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did <br />publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning is in <br />conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public hearing pursuant to this <br />rezoning request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, that the zoning of the following described property situated .in Indian River <br />County, Florida, to -wit: <br />r. <br />LOT 1 OF THE KROEGEL HOMESTEAD, IN SECTION 08, TOWNSHIP 31: -SOUTH, RANGE <br />39 EAST, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 8, PAGE 83 OF THE PUBLIC -RECORDS.
