CARTER, SURVEYOR AND HOWARD HINZ, DEVELOPER, <br />REPRESENTING PINE WOOD SUBDIVISION APPEARED TO REQUEST TENTATIVE <br />SITE PLAN APPROVAL, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY, TENTATIVE APPROVAL FOR PINE WOOD SUBDIVISION <br />WAS GRANTED. <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THIS <br />SUBDIVISION HAD ALREADY OBTAINED BUILDING PERMITS AND BUILDING <br />WAS PROGRESSING, BUT IT WAS RECENTLY DISCOVERED THAT THIS IS NOT <br />A RECORDED SUBDIVISION. WORK WAS STOPPED UNTIL COUNTY SPECIFICATIONS <br />ARE MET. MR. HINZ JUST PURCHASED THIS PROPERTY AND WAS NOT AWARE <br />OF THE COUNTY'S REQUIREMENTS. <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS DISCUSSED WITH THE BOARD A <br />POSSIBLE PROBLEM THAT THE BOARD MIGHT BE FACED: -WITH REGARDING THE CON- <br />STRUCTION OF A COUNTY.SEWER AND WATER SYSTEM IN A PRI.yATE SUBDIVISION. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT MOVED AND COMMISSIONER MASSEY <br />SECONDED AN AMENDMENT TO THE MOTION THAT WOULD READ: "SUBJECT <br />TQ THE UTILITY EASEMENT BEING GRANTED TO THE COUNTY". THERE <br />BEING NO OBJECTION THE MOTION AS AMENDED WAS UNANIMOUSLY PASSED, <br />GIL SWIGER, PRESIDENT OF INDIAN RIVER CABLEVISION <br />APPEARED REQUESTING AUTHORIZATION FROM THE BOARD TO INCREASE THEIR <br />RATES FOR CABLEVISION SERVICE. <br />MR. SWIGER WAS ASKED BY THE BOARD TO SUPPLY A SWORN <br />STATEMENT THAT THE FIGURES PRESENTED IN THE FINANCIAL REPORT ARE <br />ACCURATE, THIS STATEMENT WILL BE ATTACHED TO THE FINANCIAL REPORT <br />AND MR. SWIGER WAS INFORMED THAT, IN THE FUTURE, THE BOARD WOULD <br />REQUIRE A CERTIFIED AUDIT WHEN A RATE INCREASE IS REQUESTED. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED INDIAN <br />RIVER CABLEVISION ADVERTISING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON NOVEMBER <br />7, 1973 AT 2:30 O'CLOCK P.M.
