ORDINANCE NO. 2004- 016 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FOR APPROXIMATELY 10.76 <br />ACRES LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 620 FEET EAST OF 27TH AVENUE AND 630 FEET <br />SOUTH OF 9TH STREET S.W. (OSLO ROAD), FROM RS -6, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL <br />DISTRICT (UP TO 6 UNITS/ACRE) TO RM -6, MULTI -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (UP <br />TO 6 UNITS/ACRE); AND PROVIDING CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on <br />such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this <br />rezoning request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did <br />publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning is in <br />conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public hearing pursuant to this <br />rezoning request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, that the zoning of the following described property situated in Indian River <br />County, Florida, to -wit: <br />A PARCEL OF LAND, BEING A PORTION OF TRACT 4, SECTION 26, TOWNSHIP 33 <br />SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST, AS SHOWN ON INDIAN RIVER FARMS COMPANY PLAT OF <br />LANDS AND PLAN FOR LAND DRAINAGE AND ROAD RESERVATIONS ACCORDING TO <br />THE PLAT THEREOF, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 2, PAGE 25, OF THE PUBLIC <br />RECORDS OF ST LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />BEGIN AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID TRACT 4; THENCE ALONG THE SOUTH <br />LINE OF SAID TRACT 4, NORTH 89°58'29" WEST, A DISTANCE OF 663.92 FEET; THENCE <br />ALONG THE WEST LINE OF THE EAST 20.29 ACRES OF SAID TRACT 4, NORTH 00°19'54" <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
