a <br />'67 <br />ATTORNEY BURCH REQUESTED THAT ON PAGE 24, THIRD <br />PARAGRAPH, SECOND SENTENCE BE CHANGED TO READ: "ATTORNEY <br />BURCH DID NOT HIRE THE APPRAISOR BECAUSE THE COST WAS, IN <br />HIS OPINION, HIGHER THAN HE THOUGHT THE COMMISSIONERS HAD <br />ANTICIPATED AND HE WAS BRINGING IT BEFORE THE BOARD FORITHEIR <br />RECOMMENDATIONS " <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS REQUESTED THAT ON PAGE 46 <br />THE FOLLOWING SENTENCE BE ADDED TO THE BOTTOM OF.THE PAGE. <br />"THE FOLLOWING FIFTEEN PAGES ARE EXCERPTS TAKEN FROM THE <br />COUNTY COMMISSION MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 19TH AND OCTOBER 10TH, <br />1973." <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT REQUESTED ON PAGE 7, AFTER <br />THE SIXTH PARAGRAPH, THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPH BE INSERTED. <br />"COMMISSIONER SIEBERT POINTED OUT THAT HE UNDERSTOOD <br />THAT THERE WAS NO FORMAL WRITTEN AGREEMENT ON THE AVAILABILITY <br />OF WATER METERS AND IT WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE OFFER OF THE SALE " <br />THESE CORRECTIONS HAVING BEEN MADE ON MOTION BY <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, THE BOARD <br />UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF <br />NOVEMBER 7, 1973, AS WRITTEN. <br />CHAIRMAN LOY BRIEFLY INFORMED THE BOARD OF A SERIES <br />OF EVENTS REGARDING A TRIP TO TALLAHASSEE WITH COMMISSIONERS" <br />BOGOSIAN AND SIEBERT AND ATTORNEY BURCH TO DISCUSS WITH VARIOUS <br />CABINET OFFICIALS AND AIDES THE NEGATIVE FEELINGS OF THE CITIZENS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY REGARDING THE PRISON FACILITY PROPOSED <br />FOR INDIAN RIVER COUNTY. <br />CHAIRMAN Loy STATED THAT THE OUTCOME OF THEIR MEETINGS <br />WAS THAT THE PRISON PROJECT WAS DEFERRED FOR FURTHER STUDY. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT COMPLIMENTED THE CHAIRMAN ON DOING <br />AN EXCELLENT JOB OF CONVEYING THE COUNTY'S WISHES. <br />ATTORNEY BURCH STATED THAT WHILE IN TALLAHASSEE <br />HE STOPPED IN THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE TO QUESTION WHEN HE <br />COULD EXPECT A RESPONSE TO HIS LETTER REQUESTING OPINIONS <br />ON SEVERAL QUESTIONS PERTAINING TO COUNTY PLANNING PROCEDURES. <br />THE FOLLOWING LETTER WAS RECEIVED FROM THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE <br />- 2 - <br />
