<br />Sealed bids will be received by
<br />the Board of County Com-
<br />missioners ofIndian River County,
<br />Florlda, (hereinafter called the
<br />"Board"Y for the projects
<br />hereinafter set forth at and until
<br />2:00 P.M. Wednesday, the 5th day
<br />of December, 1973, in the office of
<br />the County Administrator, 14th
<br />Avenue, Vero Beach, Florida, at
<br />which place and time or as soon
<br />thereafter, as the Board can attend
<br />to the same, the said bids will be
<br />publicly opened and read. The
<br />Board will thereafter make the
<br />award of the contract, based upon
<br />the result of the tabulations, as'
<br />covered by applicable laws and
<br />regulations. The following is the
<br />project:

<br />Plans, specifications, bid forms,
<br />form of contract, instructions to
<br />bidders, and all other bidding and
<br />Contract data may be obtained
<br />from the Office of John J. Schutt,
<br />Jr., AIA, Architect, 2110 5th
<br />Avenue, Vero Beach, Florida, on
<br />and after November 14, 1973. A
<br />deposit of 515.00 each will be
<br />required, refundable if said plans
<br />and documents are returned in
<br />good order within 10 days after the
<br />award of the contract.
<br />All bids must be submitted on
<br />forms prescribed by the Board and
<br />accompanied by one of the
<br />following: A certified check,
<br />cashier's check, or a bid bond. If a
<br />bid bond is submitted, It must be
<br />accompanied by a "Power of
<br />Attorney" for the representative of
<br />the Bonding Company.
<br />The certified check, cashier's
<br />check or bid bond shall be in the
<br />amount of 5 per centum of the base
<br />bid, conditioned that if awarded
<br />thircontract, the bidder will within
<br />the time specified by the Board,
<br />enter Into a contract in accordance
<br />with the accepted bid, in form
<br />prescribed by the Board, and give
<br />a Performance Bond satisfactory
<br />to the Attorney for the Board equal
<br />to 100 per centum of the contract
<br />price.
<br />All bidders are requested to call
<br />at the office of the Secretary of the
<br />Board for the return Certified
<br />check, Cashier's check, or Bid
<br />Bond, which will be made
<br />available to Bidders in accordance
<br />with the Instructions to Bidders in
<br />the specifications.
<br />The Board reserves the right to
<br />waive informalities and to reject
<br />any and all bids.
