ORDINANCE NO. 2003- 021 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUN�, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR APPROXIMATELY 587.14 ACRES OF <br />LAND GENERALLY SOUTH OF SR 60, NORTH OF 8TH STREET, <br />BETWEEN 66TH AVENUE AND 82ND AVENUE; AND DESCRIBED HEREIN; <br />MAINTAINING THE EXISTING PD ZONING, BUT MODIFYING THE PD <br />CONCEPTUAL PLAN AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency <br />on such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding <br />this rezoning request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did <br />publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning is <br />consistent with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County and the county land <br />development regulations, including but not limited to the Planned Development (PD) Process <br />and Standards for Development chapter; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public hearing pursuant to <br />this rezoning request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; <br />yS <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of the property situated in Indian River County, <br />and described in EXHIBIT A (attached) be maintained as PD, but that the PD conceptual plan <br />be modified as in EXHIBIT B, attached, which will control and regulate development on the <br />subject land. <br />All with the meaning and intent as set forth in the land development regulations, and the <br />approved conceptual plan as may be amended pursuant to the provisions of the Planned <br />regulations. <br />F:\Coimnunity Development\Users\CurDev\ORDINANCE�P0 ite West 2 061803.doC <br />
