f/a/" !oi � t 9� <br />laee 'A I a92 <br />-�i 11?g , Ued'-ibh , ZI, . <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2003- 030 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FOR 3.28 ACRES LOCATED <br />ALONG OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY, APPROXIMATELY 288 FEET NORTH OF 12TH STREET, <br />FROM CH, HEAVY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, TO CG, GENERAL COMMERCIAL <br />DISTRICT; AND PROVIDING CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on <br />such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this <br />rezoning request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did <br />publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning is in <br />conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public hearing pursuant to this <br />rezoning request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Iridian <br />River County, Florida, that the zoning of the following described property situated in Indian River <br />County, Florida, to -wit: <br />FROM A POINT OF BEGINNING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE <br />SOUTH ONE HALF OF THE SOUTHWEST '/4 OF NORTHWEST '/4 OF <br />SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 33 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST, RUN WEST ON A <br />LINE PARALLEL TO THE NORTH LINE OF SAID SOUTHWEST QUARTER <br />OF NORTHWEST QUARTER TO THE EXISTING EASTERLY ROW OF OLD <br />DIXIE HIGHWAY; THENCE RUN IN A SOUTHERLY DIRECTION ALONG <br />THE EASTERLY BOUNDARY OF SAID OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY ROW A <br />DISTANCE OF 265.43 FEET; THENCE RUN EASTERLY ON A LINE <br />PARALLEL TO THE NORTH PROPERTY LINE A DISTANCE OF 360.55 FEET; <br />THENCE RUN NORTHERLY 257.29 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
