WITH THE SAME <br />MEMBERS PRESENT. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR ONE - RUBBER TIRED <br />WHEEL LOADER WITH GENERAL PURPOSE 3 1/2 CUBIC YARD BUCKET. <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR INFORMED THE BOARD OF A REQUEST FROM <br />THE ROSELAND WOMEN'S CLUB TO REPAIR THE.EMERGENCY EXIT STEPS.'"' <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY WILL INVESTIGATE THIS PROBLEM AND ALSO THE <br />GENERAL CONDITION OF THE WOMEN'S CLUB BUILDING AND REPORT BACK <br />TO THE BOARD. <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR INFORMED THE BOARD OF A LETTER FROM <br />LOIS H. KRAMER, MEMBER OF THE INDIAN RIVER SCHOOL BOARD, REQUESTING <br />INFORMATION PERTAINING TO ROADS IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY. THE <br />ADMINISTRATOR REQUESTED APPROVAL TO INFORM MRS. KRAMER THAT DUE <br />TO THE HEAVY WORK SCHEDULE OF BOTH THE FLORIDA STATE DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION AND HIS OFFICE, IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO PREPARE <br />THIS MATERIAL. THE BOARD APPROVED THE ADMINISTRATOR'S REQUEST. <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR REPORTED TO THE BOARD THAT HE IN- <br />VESTIGATED THE CONDITION OF A PRIVATE ROAD OWNED BY DON VICKERS <br />AS REQUESTED BY THE BOARD AT THEIR FEBRUARY 61 1974 MEETING. <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR RECOMMENDED THAT THIS ROAD BE TAKEN OFF THE <br />COUNTY MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE AS IT IS A PRIVATE ROAD AND IT IS <br />NOT THE COUNTY'S POLICY TO MAINTAIN PRIVATE ROADS. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT REQUESTED THAT THE ADMINISTRATOR <br />INFORM MR. VICKERS OF THE COUNTY'S POLICY. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPOINTED EDWARD L. <br />.JACKSON, JR.
