ORDINANCE NO, 2007 - 034 <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County received the Objections, Recommendations, and <br />Comments Report dated July 20, 2007, from the Florida Department of Community <br />Affairs, and <br />WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Community Affairs had objections and <br />recommendations concerning the data and analysis section of the proposed Public <br />School Facilities Element, the goals, objectives, and policies section of the proposed <br />Public School Facilities Element, and the goals, objectives, policies section of the <br />Intergovernmental Coordination Element, and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County made appropriate modifications to the Public <br />School Facilities Element and the Intergovernmental Coordination Element consistent <br />with Department of Community Affairs Objections, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County held a <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment Adoption Public Hearing on October 23, 2007, after <br />advertising pursuant to F. S. 163.3184(15)(b); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, that: <br />SECTION 1. Comprehensive Plan Amendment Adoption and Transmittal <br />The amendment to the Indian River County Comprehensive Plan identified in <br />Section 2 is hereby adopted, and three (3) copies are directed to be transmitted to the <br />State of Florida Department of Community Affairs and one (1) copy is directed to be <br />transmitted to the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council, <br />SECTION 2. Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan <br />1. Amended Capital Improvements Element; (Exhibit A) <br />2, Amended Intergovernmental Coordination Element; (Exhibit B) <br />3. New Public School Facilities Element; (Exhibit C) <br />SECTION 3. Repeal of Conflicting Provisions <br />2 of 4 <br />
