RESOLUTION NO. 2005- 015 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING AN EXCHANGE OF <br />PROPERTY WITH . MOUNT ZION BAPTIST <br />CHURCH. <br />WHEREAS, Mount Zion Baptist Church owns property -lying within the <br />boundaries proposed for the new County Administration Building campus; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County holds certain property not needed for County <br />purposes, and such property may, to the best interest of the County, be exchanged for <br />other real property which the County may desire to acquire for County purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statute 125.37,. a notice setting forth the terms <br />and conditions of the exchange has been published once a week for two weeks in a <br />newspaper of general circulation published in the county; and <br />WHEREAS, Mount Zion Baptist Church owns two Tots together with structures <br />thereon within the boundaries of the campus of the new County Administration Building; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County and Mount Zion Baptist Church are proposing <br />an exchange of real property within Indian River County, with the terms and conditions <br />of the exchange as follows: <br />1. The County shall pay to Mt. Zion Baptist Church the sum of $540,000.00, and <br />2. The County shall deed 21/2 acres located at the southwest corner of 45th Street <br />and 43r' Avenue to Mount Zion Baptist Church. <br />3. Simultaneously, Mount Zion Baptist Church shall deed to Indian River County Lot <br />6, Block 5, and Lot 15, Block 2, Booker. T.
