r <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE HAD <br />ATTENDED THE MEETING OF THE CITY OF VERO BEACH CITY COUNCIL <br />AND THE PROPOSAL REGARDING THE COUNTY SHARING IN THE COST OF NINE. <br />RECREATION PROGRAMS WAS WELL RECEIVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. <br />DISCUSSION FOLLOWED, AND IT WAS AGREED THAT A FORMAL <br />AGREEMENT WAS NEEDED ON THIS MATTER, AND ATTORNEY BURCH WAS <br />AUTHORIZED TO WORK WITH THE CITY IN DRAWING UP AN AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE FOLLOWING STIPULATIONS: <br />r _ <br />1. ALL FEES PAID BY CITY AND COUNTY RESIDENTS <br />SHOULD BE EQUALIZED. <br />2. ALL FEES COLLECTED FROM COUNTY RESIDENTS TO <br />BE PUT INTO A SEPARATE CAPITAL OUTLAY RESERVE <br />ACCOUNT. <br />3. AS THESE FUNDS ARE EXPENDED, THE CITY IS TO <br />SUBMIT REPORTS TO THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ON <br />THE UTILIZATION OF SAID FUNDS, <br />COMMISSIONER BOGOSIAN INFORMED THE BOARD OF A REQUEST <br />FROM REAL ESTATE AGENT JOE DISTASIO TO DISCUSS THE PROBLEMS <br />ENCOUNTERED IN OBTAINING A SEPTIC TANK PERMIT ON VACANT LOTS, <br />MR. DISTASIO APPEARED AND STATED THAT HIS CLIENTS ARE PUR- <br />CHASING PROPERTY SUBJECT TO THEIR GETTINb SEPTIC TANK PERMITS. <br />OUR COUNTY REGULATIONS STATE YOU MUST HAVE A ZONING CERTIFICATE <br />BEFORE YOU CAN GET A SEPTIC TANK PERMIT, AND REAL ESTATE AGENTS <br />ARE NOT ABLE TO SELL PROPERTY BECAUSE OF THE WAY COUNTY REGULA- <br />TIONS ARE SET UP, <br />AFTER MUCH DISCUSSION] THE BOARD AGREED THAT COMMIS- <br />SIONER DRITENBAS AND ADMINISTRATOR JENNINGS SHOULD MEET WITH <br />THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO DISCUSS THIS MATTER AND REPORT BACK <br />TO THE BOARD. <br />ON MOTION MADE AND SECONDED, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM- <br />MISSIONERS RECESSED AT 2:40 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />45 <br />MAY 8 1974 Bora cu Pas( 45 <br />4 <br />
