KATHERINE <br />CLYATT OUTLINED THE PROGRAMS AN EXTENSION HOME ECONOMIST <br />WOULD BE INVOLVED IN. <br />FORREST MCCULLARS, COUNTY EXTENSION DIRECTOR <br />APPEARED. AND STATED THAT HE WOULD BE IN FAVOR OF AN_„ <br />EXTENSION HOME ECONOMIST FOR INDIAN RIVER COUNTY. <br />THE BOARD AGREED TO GIVE THIS CONSIDERATION <br />AT BUDGET TIME AND INSTRUCTED MR. MCCULLARS TO PREPARE <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AS TO COST AND PRESENT IT AT BUDGET <br />TIME. MR. MCCULLARS STATED THAT THIS WOULD BE INCLUDED AS <br />PART OF HIS BUDGET. <br />S.P. MUSICK SURVEYOR APPEARED REQUESTING TENTATIVE <br />APPROVAL OF A PRIVATE SUBDIVISION COVERING THE WEST lO ACRES <br />OF TRACT 14, SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 33 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST ON <br />BEHALF OF DANIEL CAMPBELL AND HELEN M. NIGBAR. <br />THIS PLAN WAS INCOMPLETE AND MR.. MUSICK WITHDREW <br />HIS REQUEST AND ASKED TO BE PUT ON THE AGENDA FOR THE NEXT <br />BOARD MEETING ON MAY 22, 1974. <br />ED SCHMUCKER, ENGINEER AND MARVIN CARTER, SURVEYOR <br />APPEARED REQUESTING FINAL APPROVAL OF RIVER EDGE SUBDIVISION. <br />THIS SUBDIVISION IS LOCATED IN THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN. ON MARCH <br />21, 1973, WHEN THE BOARD GRANTED TENTATIVE APPROVAL, RIVER <br />f EDGE SUBDIVISION WAS IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, BUT WAS LATER <br />ANNEXED INTO THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER BOGOSIAN, FINAL APPROVAL WAS GRANTED TO RIVER <br />EDGE SUBDIVISION, AS PRESENTED BY ED SCHMUCKER AND MARVIN CARTER. <br />DISCUSSION FOLLOWED AND COMMISSIONER SIEBERT STATED <br />THAT HE DID NOT APPROVE OF THE HELTER-SKELTER METHOD USED IN <br />ANNEXATION OF LAND, ON THE SEBASTIAN RIVER. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE MOTION. <br />THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED AND THE MOTION <br />WAS CARRIED. <br />MAY 1974 BOOKZU PACE 06 <br />M <br />4 <br />
