County/City of Vero Beach Enterprise Zone and meets the criteria as a sponsoring <br />organization under Section 220.03(1)(t), Florida Statutes; and <br />WHEREAS, ARC incorporates, as part of its By -Laws, working with individuals <br />with developmental, physical, and educational challenges, who have employment <br />interests, but need services and support to increase their quality of life and increase their <br />participation in the communities; and <br />WHEREAS, the ARC project, described in attachment A, is consistent with the <br />overall intent of the Enterprise Zone Strategic Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Enterprise Zone Strategic Plan is consistent with the Indian River <br />County Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, ARC is the sponsoring organization applying for approval as a State <br />approved Community Development Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT: <br />The Board of County Commissioners endorses Abilities Resource Center of <br />Indian River County as a sponsoring agency under the Florida Enterprise Zone <br />Community Contribution Tax Credit Program and finds that the Abilities Resource <br />Center of Indian River County' s Project, as described in Attachment A, is consistent with <br />the Indian River County/City of Vero Beach Enterprise Zone Strategic Plan and Indian <br />River County Comprehensive Plan. <br />The forgoing Resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />seconded by Commissioner Rowden <br />the vote was as follows: <br />Inwther and <br />and upon being put to a vote, <br />Arthur R.
