S. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2005- 012 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br /> FLORIDA, ADDING TWO MEMBERS TO THE <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ADVISORY <br /> COMMITTEE. <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution No. 90-1.56 created the ,Professional Advisory <br /> Committee which was renamed by Resolution 91-19 to the Professional Services <br /> Advisory Committee; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Committee currently consists of nine members and three <br /> alternates; and <br /> of the Professional Services Advisory Committee is to <br /> WHEREAS,. the functionrY . . <br /> advise the Board of County Commissioners regarding rules, regulations, policies, <br /> procedures, fees and ordinances pertaining to the Land Development Regulations and <br /> Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Professional Services Advisory Committee currently consists of <br /> members of the following professional fields and trades: civil engineering; architecture <br /> and/or landscape architecture; surveying; underground, road and/or general <br /> contractors; and law with special interest or training in the areas of development and/or <br /> the environment; and <br /> WHEREAS, certain Land Development Regulations and Comprehensive Plan <br /> goals, objectives and policies pertain to environmental protection; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to expand the <br /> professional Services Advisory Committee by adding two members with environmental <br /> expertise to provide input on regulations and goals, objectives and policies relating to <br /> environmental and other issues; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br /> 1. The Professional Services Advisory Committee shall consist of eleven members <br /> and three alternates. At least one member of the Committee shall be a.member of <br /> an organization focusing on .environmental issues and one member shall be a <br /> forester, biologist, botanist, horticulturalist or arborist.
