RESOLUTION NO. 2004-030 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. <br />1 TO THE COUNTY INCENTIVE GRANT PROGRAM (CIGP) <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION FOR CR 512 WIDENING AND RESURFACING <br />PROJECT FROM I-95 TO ROSELAND ROAD <br />WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Indian River County <br />entered in to an agreement on June 17, 2002, in which the FDOT agreed to provide grant funding <br />to the County for a widening and resurfacing improvements to CR 512 in the amount of <br />$1,982,750.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the bidding and construction of CR 512 has been delayed due to right-of- <br />way acquisition and other issues and the schedule set forth in the agreement cannot be fulfilled, <br />Indian River County requested an extension of the grant agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, both parties desire to amend the agreement to reflect the time extension and <br />update contact information in the agreement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Indian River County Board of <br />County Commissioners: <br />1. Approves Amendment Number One to the County Incentive Grant Program <br />Agreement (409696-1-54-01) between State of Florida Department of <br />Transportation and Indian River County; and <br />2. Authorizes the Chairman to execute Amendment Number One; and <br />3. Directs the Public Works Director to transmit the executed Amendment Number <br />One to the Florida Department of Transportation. <br />THIS RESOLUTION was offered by Commissioner Adams who <br />moved its adoption.
