APPEARED REQUESTING APPROVAL TO ADVERTISE. <br />FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR A RATE INCREASE. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED ADVERTISEMENT <br />FOR A PUBLIC HEARING, FOR A RATE INCREASE AS REQUESTED BY <br />INDIAN RIVER CABLEVISION, INC. <br />THE BOARD DISCUSSED A REQUEST FROM THE ROSELAND <br />VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, INC. FOR FILLING DIRT NEEDED AT <br />THE SITE OF THEIR PROPOSED FIRE HOUSE. <br />THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR STATED THAT THE COUNTY CAN <br />NOT SUPPLY FILLING DIRT FOR ANY PROPERTY OTHER THAN PROPERTY <br />OWNED BY ANOTHER GOVERNING BODY. THE ROSELAND VOLUNTEER <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT DOES NOT OWN THE PROPERTY AT THIS TIME. <br />COMMISSIONER BOGOSIAN STATED THAT THE CRITERIA IS <br />WHETHER OR NOT IT IS FOR A PUBLIC PURPOSE. <br />A MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY, TO APPROVE THIS'REQUEST SUBJECT TO <br />THE QUESTION OF LEGALITY BEING REFERRED TO THE COUNTY ATTORNEY <br />FOR HIS REVIEW. <br />AFTER MUCH DISCUSSION COMMISSIONER SIEBERT WITHDREW <br />HIS MOTION. <br />THE BOARD AGREED TO INSTRUCT THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />TO NOTIFY THE ROSELAND VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT THAT THEY <br />MUST SUPPLY A DEED STATING THAT THEY OWN THE PROPERTY; PRESENT A <br />PLAN OF THE PROPOSED FIRE STATION; AND ALSO THAT THEY PUT UP <br />SIGNS INDICATING THAT THIS PROPERTY IS THE SITE OF THE PROPOSED <br />ROSELAND VOLUNTEER FIRE STATION. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE <br />REQUEST FROM -THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE INDIAN RIVER MEMORIAL <br />HOSPITAL THAT THE FIVE MILLION DOLLAR BOND ISSUE FOR HOSPITAL <br />CONSTRUCTION BE PLACED ON THE BALLOT FOR THE 1974 PRIMARY <br />ELECTION. <br />10 <br />Boor 20��a��:�11 <br />J <br />
