FELLSMERE AREA, BUT FOUND NO PARCEL LARGE ENOUGH FOR THIS TYPE <br />OF OPERATION. <br />MR. JENNINGS THEN WENT ON TO INFORM THE BOARD THAT THE <br />CONSTRUCTION FORMS FOR TRANSFER STATIONS WERE ON ORDER, TRANSFER <br />STATIONS WILL BE PLACED THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY TO SERVE AS <br />COLLECTION POINTS FOR GARBAGE. LATER THE.GARB,AGE WOULD BE <br />PICKED UP BY COUNTY TRUCKS AND TAKEN TO THE COUNTY LANDFILL SITE. A <br />TRANSFER STATION IN THE FELLSMERE AREA WOULD HELP SOLVE THE <br />PROBLEM THEY NOW HAVE, <br />THE BOARD AGREED TO INFORM THE FELLSMERE CITY COUNCIL <br />THAT THE COUNTY WILL TRADE THE PARCELS OF PROPERTY THEY OWN FOR <br />A SUITABLE TRACT OF LAND OUTSIDE.THE FELLSMERE CITY LIMITS AND <br />TO REQUEST THE COUNCIL TO INVESTIGATE THIS POSSIBILITY. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY GRANTED TENTATIVE <br />APPROVAL OF A PRIVATE SUBDIVISION OWNED BY DR. FISCHER LOCATED <br />IN THE FLEMING GRANT AREA AND PRESENTED BY .JAMES BEINDORF, <br />ENGINEER. <br />VAL BRENNAN, PLANNING DIRECTOR APPEARED REQUESTING <br />AUTHORIZATION TO CONTRACT FOR TWO PROJECTS UNDER THE "701" <br />PLANNING PROGRAM. THE FIRST PROGRAM IS DEVELOPMENT OF GROWTH <br />POLICY" AT AN ESTIMATED COST OF $12,500.00 AND THE SECOND PROGRAM <br />IS "IMPACT ZONING, PHASE II - INCORPORATION INTO ZONING ORDINANCE", <br />AT AN ESTIMATED COST OF $8,000.00, FOR A TOTAL COST OF $20,500.00. <br />THE LOCAL SHARE IS ONE-THIRD OR $6,834.00 AND UNDER THIS YEARS <br />CITY -COUNTY PLANNING FUNDING ARRANGEMENTS OF 40%/60%, THE CITY'S <br />SHARE OF THESE PROGRAMS WOULD BE $2,734.00 AND THE COUNTY'S SHARE <br />WOULD BE $4,100.00. <br />MR. BRENNAN STATED THAT HE HAS $6,900.00 REMAINING IN HIS <br />BUDGET THIS YEAR THAT COULD BE EXPENDED FOR THIS PURPOSE, HE <br />FURTHER STATED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL VOTED TO APPROVE ONLY THE "IMPACT <br />ZONING - PHASE II PROGRAM" AND THE CITY'S SHARE FOR THAT PROGRAM <br />WOULD BE $1,066.00. MR. BRENNAN STATED THAT THERE IS A REFUND <br />DUE FROM THE 1073 - "701 PLANNING PROGRAM" IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,752.00. <br />6 <br />
