RESOLUTION NO. 2004-116 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />ESTABLISHING THE ASSESSMENT RATES TO BE LEVIED <br />UPON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />FOR FISCAL YEAR 2004-2005 FOR ALL THE NON -AD <br />VALOREM ASSESSMENTS. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget Officer of Indian River County has ascertained the needs and <br />the fiscal policy of the Board of County Commissioners for the ensuing fiscal year and did <br />prepare and present to the Board a tentative budget for all of the street lighting municipal <br />service benefit units established pursuant to The Code of Indian River, Florida, and the East <br />Gifford Watershed Area Municipal Service Benefit Unit established pursuant to The Code of <br />Indian River, Florida, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County did examine <br />the tentative budgets of all of the aforementioned municipal service benefit units and held public <br />hearings, pursuant to law, to consider input from the citizens of Indian River County with <br />respect to the special assessments to be levied and the amounts and the use of money derived <br />from the levy of the special assessments, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County hereby adopts and levies <br />the special assessments set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto as the final amounts for fiscal <br />year 2004-2005 for all non -ad valorem assessments in each municipal service benefit unit set <br />forth therein. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Adams , and the <br />motion was seconded by Commissioner Lowther , and, upon being put to a vote, the <br />vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Caroline D. Ginn Aye <br />Vice Chairman Arthur R. Neuberger Aye <br />Commissioner Fran B. Adams Aye <br />„. Commissioner Thomas S. Lowther Aye <br />Commissioner, Kenneth R.
