RESOLUTION NO. 2004-116 A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE ASSESSMENT RATES TO BE LEVIED UPON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FOR FISCAL YEAR 2004-2005 FOR ALL THE NON -AD VALOREM ASSESSMENTS. WHEREAS, the Budget Officer of Indian River County has ascertained the needs and the fiscal policy of the Board of County Commissioners for the ensuing fiscal year and did prepare and present to the Board a tentative budget for all of the street lighting municipal service benefit units established pursuant to The Code of Indian River, Florida, and the East Gifford Watershed Area Municipal Service Benefit Unit established pursuant to The Code of Indian River, Florida, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County did examine the tentative budgets of all of the aforementioned municipal service benefit units and held public hearings, pursuant to law, to consider input from the citizens of Indian River County with respect to the special assessments to be levied and the amounts and the use of money derived from the levy of the special assessments, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County hereby adopts and levies the special assessments set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto as the final amounts for fiscal year 2004-2005 for all non -ad valorem assessments in each municipal service benefit unit set forth therein. The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Adams , and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Lowther , and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: Chairman Caroline D.
