RESOLUTION NO. 2006- 088 <br />WHEREAS, Section 101.05.1.q of The Code of Indian River County <br />allows the Board to authorize the County Administrator or his designee to perform other <br />duties on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners; and <br />WHEREAS, absent any Commission meetings during the period from July <br />19, 2006 through August 21, 2006, the need may arise for the County to be able to <br />timely call letters of credit, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1. The above recitals are affirmed. <br />2. The County Administrator or the Assistant County Administrator are <br />hereby delegated authority to execute resolutions on behalf of the Board of County <br />Commissioners to call letters of credit which might otherwise expire or be close to <br />expiring and requiring action to be taken before the Board of County Commissioners <br />again meet due to cancellation of normally scheduled commission meetings. <br />3. Any resolutions executed by the County Administrator or the <br />Assistant County Administrator to call letters of credit during the period from July 19, <br />2006 through August 21, 2006 are to be accompanied by a copy of this resolution <br />delegating that authority. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner <br />Bowden and the motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Davi s <br />, and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />2 <br />F:\Attorney\Nancy\DOCS\RES\Reso autho admin re locs.doc <br />
