a <br /> 9. Resolution 2006-001 of the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners is <br /> hereby rescinded in its entirety. <br /> 10. Commencing November 21, 2006, and continuing through November 19, 2007, <br /> Joseph A. Baird, Indian River County Administrator and Indian River County <br /> Emergency Services District Director, or his designee, is hereby delegated the <br /> authority: (i) to declare a state of local emergency for Indian River County pursuant <br /> to Florida Statutes section 252.38(3)(x)(5)(2006); and (ii) pursuant to any duly <br /> issued Executive Order concerning Emergency Management issued by the <br /> Governor of the State of Florida declaring that a disaster and/or emergency [as <br /> such terms are defined in Florida Statutes section 252.34 (1) and (3) respectively] <br /> exists in Indian River County, to issue orders and rules, including, without <br /> limitation, the ability to issue Emergency Orders for Indian River County, during the <br /> period of the declared emergency. <br /> 11.
