RESOLUTION NO. 2007-157 <br />A TRUE COPY <br />CERTIFICATION ON LAST <br />J.K. BARTON, CLERK <br />9. Resolution 2006-181 of the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners is <br />hereby rescinded in its entirety <br />10. Commencing November 20, 2007, and continuing through December 31, 2008, <br />Joseph A. Baird, Indian. River County Administrator and Indian River County <br />Emergency Services District Director, or his designee is hereby delegated the <br />authority (i) to declare a state of local emergency for Indian River County pursuant <br />to Florida Statutes section 252.38(3)(a)(5)(2007); and (ii) to issue orders and rules <br />including, without limitation, the ability to issue Emergency Orders for Indian River <br />County, during a period of a declared emergency pursuant to any duly issued <br />Executive Order concerning Emergency Management issued by the Governor of <br />the State of Florida declaring that a disaster and/or emergency [as such terms are <br />defined in Florida Statutes sections 252.34 (1) and (3) respectively] exists in Indian <br />River County. <br />11. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption. <br />The Resolution was moved to adoption by Commissioner Davis and the <br />motion was seconded by Commissioner 0' Bryan and, upon being put to a <br />vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Bowden <br />Vice Chairman Davi s <br />Commissioner Fl escher <br />Commissioner Wheel er <br />Commissioner 0' Bryan <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />The Chairman thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed and adopted this 20th <br />day of November, 2007. <br />Atte .
