VAL BRENNAN, PLANNING DIRECTOR, APPEARED AND STATED THAT THIS ORDINANCE WAS PREPARED IN ORDER TO CHANGE THE AMOUNT OF SQUARE FEET AREA OF LIVING QUARTERS FROM A MINIMUM OF 1,000 SQUARE FEET TO A MINIMUM OF 750 SQUARE FEET AND TO CHANGE THE SPACE BETWEEN BUILDINGS FROM 40 FEET TO 20 FEET. COMMISSIONER WODTKE QUESTIONED IF FIRE EQUIPMENT COULD GET THROUGH WITH ONLY A 20 FOOT SEPARATION. THE BOARD AGREED TO CONTINUE THIS PUBLIC HEARING UNTIL MR. BRENNAN CAN CHECK WITH THE FIRE DEPARTMENT TO SEE IF FIRE EQUIPMENT COULD GET THROUGH WITH 20 FEET OF SPACE BETWEEN BUILDINGS.
