Brown ( <br />Budget Manager <br />Date: January 28, 2004 <br />Subject: Miscellaneous Budget Amendment 005 <br />Description and Conditions <br />The attached budget amendment appropriates funding necessary for the following: <br />1. Indian River County libraries have received donations totaling $17,210. The attached entry <br />appropriates these donated funds. <br />2. The fiscal year 2002/03 budget included funding in the amount of $75,000 for Murphy Act <br />reservation mapping and $22,000 for digital aerial photography for the GIS system. The <br />attached entry rolls the unexpended funds to the current year. <br />3 General accounting practices require that some renewal and replacement (R&R) costs are <br />recorded as expenses. The attached entry makes the necessary budget adjustment for this <br />accounting of expenses in the Utility Department. <br />4. The Florida Department of Labor has invoiced the county for unemployment compensation <br />claims in various departments. The attached entry appropriates funding. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Staff recommends that the Board of Commissioners approve the attached budget resolution <br />amending the fiscal year 2003/04 budget. <br />APPROVED AGENDA ITEM: <br />BY: <br />James E.
