0 <br />JACK .JENNINGS, COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR, DISCUSSED WITH THE BOARD <br />THE ROAD SITUATION IN THE FELLSMERE WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT. THIS <br />WAS PREVIOUSLY DISCUSSED AT THE NOVEMBER 7, 1974 MEETING. MR. JENNINGS <br />STATED THAT THE COUNTY HAS BEEN MAINTAINING CERTAIN ROADS AROUND THE <br />FELLSMERE AREA, BUT THESE ROADS HAVE NOT BEEN DEDICATED OR ACCEPTED <br />BY THE COUNTY. IN THE ORIGINAL CHARTER OF THE FELLSMERE WATER <br />MANAGEMENT DISTRICT IT STATED THAT THEY WILL OWN ALL THE RIGHTS-OF-WAY <br />FOREVER MORE AND THEY HAVE NEVER DEDICATED THEM FOR PUBLIC USE. THE <br />QUESTION CAME UP ABOUT THE COUNTY MAINTAINING ROADS THAT THEY DID NOT. <br />OWN. A MEETING WAS ARRANGED WITH TWE FELLSMERE WATER MANAGEMENT <br />DISTRICT AND THEY PREPARED A RELEASE OF EASEMENT AND A MAP OF CERTAIN <br />ROADS THAT THEY WOULD LIKE THE COUNTY TO MAINTAIN. <br />MR. JENNINGS DID.MAKE AN.INSPECTION OF THESE ROADS AND HE <br />RECOMMENDED THE COUNTY MAINTAIN WILLOW STREET WHICH RUNS NORTH <br />AND SOUTH. <br />THE BOARD DISCUSSED WHAT OTHER ROADS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED <br />FOR MAINTENANCE. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT SUGGESTED THAT THE ADMINISTRATOR PREPARE <br />A MAP SHOWING THE ROADS TO BE MAINTAINED THAT MOVE TRAFFIC IN THE <br />FELLSMERE AREA AND FOR THE ADMINISTRATOR TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS MADE AT THE NOVEMBER 7, 1974 MEETING. <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR SUGGESTED THAT BESIDES WILLOW STREET, PARK <br />LATERAL AND COMMUNITY ROAD BE CONSIDERED FOR MAINTENANCE. <br />THE BOARD AGREED THAT THE ADMINISTRATOR SHOULD PREPARE A MAP <br />OF THE ROADS THAT THE COUNTY CAN CONSIDER FOR MAINTENANCE AND REPORT <br />BACK TO THE BOARD. <br />ON MOTION MADE, SECONDED AND CARRIED THE BOARD RECESSED AT <br />10:10 O'CLOCK A.M. <br />M+0 <br />V 2 0 1974 21 -,A,;,[169 <br />
