1. <br />• �qq <br />M <br />COMMUNITY BUILDING COULD SERVE AS A TEMPORARY BUILDING UNTIL <br />SOMETHING ELSE BECOMES AVAILABLE. <br />CHAIRMAN Loy STATED THAT ONE OF THE FIRST CONCERNS OF THIS <br />BOARD, WHEN ROSELAND VOLUNTEERS APPEARED REQUESTING FUNDS TO PUR- <br />CHASE A FIRE TRUCK WAS WHERE WOULD THEY HOUSE THIS EQUIPMENT AND <br />THEY STATED THAT THEY WOULD TRY TO RAISE FUNDS TO BUILD A BUILDING <br />= AND THIS BOARD WENT ALONG WITH THIS. <br />THOMAS BALTIMORE, ASSISTANT FIRE CHIEF INFORMED THE BOARD <br />THAT THEY HAVE BEEN WORKING TOWARDS OBTAINING PROPERTY TO BUILD <br />A FIRE STATION, BUT THEY HAVE RUN INTO PROBLEMS. HE STATED <br />THAT THEY DO HAVE $2,500.00 IN THEIR BUILDING FUND AND ANY <br />BUILDING BUILT ON COUNTY PROPERTY WOULD BELONG TO THE COUNTY. <br />THE BOARD AGREED TO INVESTIGATE IF THERE IS ANY COUNTY <br />PROPERTY IN THIS AREA THAT MIGHT BE ACCEPTABLE. IT WAS FURTHER <br />AGREED THAT A SPECIAL COMMITTEE BE FORMED CONSISTING OF A COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONER, THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR AND THE ROSELAND VOLUNTEER <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT TO INVESTIGATE WHERE THIS FIRE STATION WOULD BEST <br />SERVE THE COMMUNITY. <br />THE HOUR OF 11:00 O'CLOCK A.M.
