SECTION III PERMITTED USES <br />In a "MP" District, the permitted uses for lands and waters <br />shall be° boating, swimming, fishing, diving, water skiing, surf - <br />boarding, wading and related water oriented recreational uses. In <br />the case of Indian River County Controlled Islands, a conservation, <br />recreational or research use may b6 designated. The development <br />e <br />of recreational facilities for the said County Controlled Islands <br />shall be determined by the Indian River County Commission. <br />SECTION IU MARINE ISLAND ADVISORY COMMISSION <br />An advisory commission hereafter known as the Marine Island <br />Advisory Commission shall be established to recommend plans and <br />policies for the use of the County Controlled Islands. The Commission <br />shall be comprised of not less than five (5) nor more than eleven <br />(11) members who shall be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners <br />and serve at the Board's pleasure. The commission may report any <br />violations of the provisions of this Ordinance, specifically dealing <br />with the islands, to the enforcement. agencies. <br />The Marine Island Advisory Commission shall advise and recommend <br />to the County Commission on the development of recreational uses <br />for the Islands owned or controlled by Indian River County and <br />shall establish a uniform system of distinguishable signs delineating <br />the use of the said Islands and shall review all permit applications <br />for structures or work within said district which are made to state <br />or federal agencies. <br />SECTION V.
