IS <br />PAGE 6 ' "PRELIMINARY PLATS" <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE QUESTIONED IF A DEVELOPMENT WAS SPLIT <br />WITH HALF OF THE DEVELOPMENT IN THE COUNTY AND THE OTHER HALF IN <br />A MUNICIPALITY, WHO WOULD GIVE APPROVAL AND WOULD THE MORE RESTRICTIVE <br />REGULATIONS TAKE PRECEDENT. <br />MR. BERG STATED THAT THIS DEVELOPMENT WOULD NEED APPROVAL OF <br />BOTH GOVERNING BODIES, <br />CHAIRMAN LOY STATED THAT WE WOULD HAVE NOTHING TO SAY ABOUT <br />THE MUNICIPALITIES HALF, THEY WOULD FOLLOW THEIR REGULATIONS IN <br />THE CITY PORTION AND THE PORTION LYING IN THE COUNTY WOULD HAVE TO <br />FOLLOW THE COUNTY'S REGULATIONS. <br />PAGE 13 - "SECTION E" <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE QUESTIONED IF THERE IS A RAILROAD CROSSING, <br />DOES THE DEVELOPER HAVE TO PAY THE COST TO SIGNALIZE THE CROSSING. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, STATED THAT THERE IS NOTHING NOW THAT <br />STATES IF THERE IS AN EXISITING RAILROAD CROSSING THE DEVELOPER PAYS <br />FOR THE SIGNALIZING. IT WAS STATED THAT NEW RAILROAD CROSSINGS ARE <br />COVERED. <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR STATED THAT"WHERE NECESSARY TO IMPROVE <br />ANY EXISTING RAILROAD CROSSINGS, IT WILL BE AT THE EXPENSE OF THE <br />DEVELOPER", SHOULD BE ADDED TO THE ORDINANCE. <br />PAGE 14 - "BLOCKS" <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE QUESTIONED IF BICYCLE PATHS SHOULD BE <br />INCLUDED IN THIS SECTION. <br />MR, BERG STATED THAT BICYCLE PATHS ARE NOT INCLUDED, AND <br />POSSIBLY THEY SHOULD BE INCLUDED UNDER THE SECTION HEADED "RIGHT <br />OF -WAY". <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY, STATED THAT THE ONLY QUESTION HE HAD <br />WAS REGARDING "WATER AND WATER RUN-OFF". <br />MR, BERG STATED THAT THIS WAS DISCUSSED AT SEVERAL MEETINGS, <br />AND IT WAS PROPOSED,A PROVISION FOR PROVIDING WATER RUN-OFF IN THE <br />SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS ON THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE POLLUTION BOARD, <br />BUT IT WAS DECIDED AT THAT TIME NOT TO PUT IT IN. HOWEVER, HE STATED, <br />OUR FLOOD MAP WILL REQUIRE THAT, AT THE TIME OF THE SUBDIVISION REVIEW <br />AND FOR THE RECORD, WE SHOULD WATCH THAT CLOSELY IN SUBDIVI'SIONS <br />IN THE FUTURE, <br />-40- <br />JAN 81975 <br />RDDN 21 rAGE 462* <br />
