HAS OWNED THIS PROPERTY SINCE 1967, BUT IT DOES NOT MEET SUBDIVISION <br />REQUIREMENTS. MR, GIPSON'S PROPERTY IS 50 FEET BY 10O FEET AND THZ <br />REQUIRMENTS STATE THAT IN ORDER TO BUILD THERE MUST BE 70 FOOT FRONTAGE. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY GRANTED A SPECIAL EXCEPTION PERMIT <br />TO GEORGE GIPSON TO BUILD ON HIS 50 BY 100.'FQOT PIECE OF PROPERTY. <br />COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER STATED THAT AT THE MEETING SCHEDULED BY <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ON INDIAN RIVER BLVD. THERE WAS • <br />DISCUSSION, BUT NO DESIGN FOR A BRIDGE OVER THE MAIN CANAL AT INDIAN <br />RIVER BLVD. HE SUGGESTED THAT WE INSTRUCT THE COUNTY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO WRITE TO THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION"AND REQUEST <br />THEM TO FORWARD THE DESIGN FOR A BRIDGE THAT THEY ARE PLANNING OVER <br />THE MAIN CANAL AT INDIAN RIVER BLVD. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED TO WRITE TO THE DEPARTMENT <br />OF TRANSPORTATION REQUESTING THEM TO ADVISE US AND WORK WITH US WHEN <br />THEY DESIGN THE BRIDGE OVER THE MAIN CANAL AT INDIAN RIVER BLVD. <br />THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR STATED THAT AT THE JULY 24, 19711 MEETING. <br />A REQUEST FROM ESTER RYMER WAS APPROVED BY THE BOARD TO HAVE THE COUNTY <br />FORCES MOVE'A DRAINAGE EASEMENT 20 FEET FROM THE EDGE OF AN ADJOINING <br />COUNTY OWNEDPARK TO THE CENTER OF THE PARK AND TO .ABANDON THE ORIGINAL <br />EASEMENT..AT MRS. RYMER'S EXPENSE. <br />THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR CONTINUED THAT IF THE COUNTY FORCES AND <br />EQUIPMENT DO THIS WORK IT WILL COST MRS. RYMER APPROXIMATELY $600.00 <br />BECAUSE THERE ARE TREES GROWING DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE PARK. MRS. RYMER <br />IS NOW SUGGESTING THAT THE TREES BE LEFT AND THE NEW SWALE BE DUG AROUND <br />THEM AND SHE WILL HAVE THE SWALE DUG. THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR HAD <br />NO OBJECTION TO THE WINDING SWALE DITCH. MRS. RYMER WOULD HAVE THE <br />SWALE DITCH DUG AND HAVE THE ORIGINAL DITCH FILLED IN AND STATED THAT <br />AFTER INSPECTION BY THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR, IF IT WAS NOT SATISFACTORY <br />THE RELEASE OF EASEMENT WOULD NOT BE ISSUED, <br />SEB 1971, <br />- 22.
