RESOLUTION NO. 2001-_123 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br /> COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br /> FLORIDA, that: <br /> 1. The property was purchased from the "HUD dollar homes" program <br /> so that the County can make it available to a true not-for-profit organization for <br /> rehabilitation and resale to a first-time homebuyer, thus the home can then act <br /> as a catalyst for neighborhood revitalization. <br /> 2. Any and all liens for taxes delinquent or current against the <br /> following described lands, which were acquired from Mel Martinez, Secretary, <br /> Department of Housing and Urban Development, of Washington, D.C. are <br /> hereby cancelled pursuant to the authority of section 196.28, F.S. <br /> See attached Indenture from Mel Martinez, <br /> Secretary, Department of Housing and Urban <br /> Development, of Washington, D.C. to Indian River <br /> County describing lands, recorded in O.R. Book <br /> 1392 at Page 1668, Public Records of Indian River <br /> County, Florida. <br /> The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner <br /> TAT i I and the motion was seconded by Commissioner <br /> Adams , and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br /> 2 <br />
