J. Schumann, Jr. who on oath <br />says that he is Business Manager of the Vero Beach Press -Journal, a weekly newspaper published <br />at Vero Beach in Indian River County, Florida; that the attached copy of advertisement, being <br />In the Court was pub- <br />Iished in said newspaper in the Issues of <br />-e,�- 91 /9 7.j <br />Affiant further says that the said Vero Beach Press -Journal is a newspaper published at <br />Vero Beach, in said Indian River County, and that the said newspaper has heretofore <br />been continuously published in said Indian River County, Florida, weekly and has been entered <br />as second class mail matter at the post office in Vero Beach, in said Indian River County, Florida <br />for a period of one year next preceeding the first publication of the attached copy of adver- <br />tisement; and affiant further says that he has neither paid nor promised any person, firm or <br />corporation any discount, rebate, commission or refund for the purpose of securing this adver- <br />tisement for publication in the said newspaper. <br />Sworn to and subscribed before me this <br />(SEAL.) <br />(Clerk of t Cir Court, Indian River County, Florida) <br />NOTICE ' <br />%' NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN <br />that the Board o1 County Com- <br />missioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, will hold a public hearing <br />at Its regular meeting in the Indian <br />River County Courthouse, Vero <br />Beach, Florida, at 10:00 A.M. on <br />. the Sth day of March, 1975, at' <br />which time and place the Board of <br />County Commissioners will <br />consider• the advisability of <br />vacating, abandoning, dis- <br />continuing and closing the public ; <br />street described as follows: <br />All that part of Sebastian <br />Avenue, formerly known as <br />Bay Street, in the townsite of <br />Roseland, Indian River <br />County, Florida, lying West of <br />Lewis Street, in the townsite of <br />. PATTESON APPEARED AND MADE HIS PRESENTATION. HE STATED' <br />THAT SEBASTIAN AVENUE, FORMERLY KNOWN AS BAY STREET HAS NOT BEEN USED <br />FOR MANY YEARS. AT THE END OF SEBASTIAN AVENUE AND MR. PATTESON'S <br />PROPERTY THERE IS A LARGE DITCH AND MR. PATTESON 'STATED THAT THE <br />ADJOINING PROPERTY OWNER MR. TEAGUE SIGNED THE ORIGINAL REQUEST AND.; <br />IS IN FAVOR OF THE ABANDONMENT OF THIS ROAD. <br />ON MOTION. BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE ABANDONMENT OF SEBASTIAN <br />AVENUE, FORMERLY KNOWN AS BAY STREET, AS REQUESTED BY J. T.
