MR. ROBISON PRESENTED A PLAN OF DEVELOPMENT AND STATED <br />THAT THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED OFF OLD' DIXIE HIGHWAY, SOUTH OF <br />GLENDALE ROAD. THE PARCEL CONSISTS OF 17.6 ACRES AND THE PLAN <br />IS TO BUILD 176 ABUTTING UNITS. A FENCE IS PROPOSED ON,THE WEST <br />SIDE OF THIS DEVELOPMENT, AND ALSO FROPOSED,IS A 120 FOOT SET- <br />BACK FROM THE BACK OF THE BUILDINGS TO THE WEST PROPERTY LINE. <br />THE RECOMMENDATION FROM THE ZONING COMMISSION WAS FOR R -2B, BUT <br />MR, ROBISON IS REQUESTING R -2C MULTIPLE FAMILY DISTRICT. <br />VAL BRENNAN, PLANNING DIRECTOR, APPEARED AND STATED <br />THAT HE AGREES WITH THE ZONING COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION OF <br />R -2B. THE ZONING COMMISSION AND THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT AGREE <br />WITH THE 120 FOOT SET -BACK AS IT SETS UP A BUFFER AREA. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT QUESTIONED WHERE THE SEWER ,AND <br />WATER TREATMENT PLANT WILL GO. <br />MR. ROBISON STATED THAT IT WILL BE PLACED ON THE EAST <br />SIDE OF OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY. <br />CHAIRMAN LOY STATED THAT THE RECORDS SHOULD INDICATE <br />THAT THE ZONING COMMISSION WAS PRESENTED WITH A PETITION FROM <br />THE PROPERTY OWNERS AND RESIDENTS OF COLONIAL TERRACE SUBDIVI- <br />SION OPPOSED TO THE REZONING OF THIS PROPERTY TO R -2C MULTIPLE <br />FAMILY DISTRICT. <br />COLONIAL TERRACE SUBDIVISION LIES TO THE WEST OF THIS <br />DISCUSSED PROPERTY REQUESTING REZONING. <br />THE CHAIRMAN ASKED IF ANYONE PRESENT WISHED TO SPEAK. <br />ELAINE WILLIAMSON, RESIDENT OF COLONIAL TERRACE SUBDIVI- <br />SION, APPEARED REQUESTING THE BOARD TO LEAVE THE ZONING AT R-1 <br />SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT, BUT CONTINUED THAT IF A 120 FOOT SET- <br />BACK AND A FENCE IS INSTALLED, SHE COULD AGREE TO THE REZONING. <br />WILLIAM HELM APPEARED AND STATED THAT HE WAS NOT OPPOSED <br />TO THE R -2B ZONING IF THE 120 FOOT SET -BACK IS CARRIED OUT AND <br />THE FENCE IS INSTALLED. <br />14 - <br />BAR 19 1975 _;r,_ _ og :22 PACE 25 <br />114 <br />
