DON VICKERS, A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE' <br />SEBASTIAN RIVER MEDICAL CENTER APPEARED REQUESTING A ZONING CHANGE <br />FROM C-1 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AND R -1 SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT TO R-3A <br />RETIREMENT DISTRICT, <br />VAL BRENNAN, PLANNING DIRECTOR APPEARED AND STATED IT IS HIS <br />AND THE ZONING COMMISSION'S RECOMMENDATION THAT THIS ZONING CHANGE <br />BE APPROVED IN ORDER THAT A CONVALESCENT HOME COULD BE BUILT ON THIS <br />PROPERTY, <br />CHAIRMAN LOY STATED THAT THE BOARD HAD RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING <br />LETTERS IN SUPPORT OF THIS REZONING. <br />ROSELAND UNITED METHODIST CHURCH <br />ROSELAND PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION <br />GARNET HANSHAW <br />SEBASTIAN RIVER AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE <br />THE CHAIRMAN ASKED IF ANYONE PRESENT WISHED TO BE HEARD <br />DURING THIS PUBLIC HEARING. <br />GEORGIA ALLEN APPEARED AND SPOKE IN FAVOR OF'THIS REZONING. <br />A MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COM- <br />MISSIONER MASSEY' THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED THE REZONING REQUEST <br />BY THE SEBASTIAN RIVER MEDICAL CENTER FROM C-1 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT <br />AND R-1 SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT TO R-3A RETIREMENT DISTRICT. <br />
