1975 AT 7:30 O'CLOCK P.M. IN THE COUNTY COMMISSION ROOM. <br />MR. BRENNAN STATED THAT OUR PRE -APPLICATION WAS FOR A GRANT <br />OF $350,000.00 AND HE SUGGESTED PREPAPING THE FULL APPLICATION LISTING <br />AREAS ACCORDING TO PRIORITY IN THE EVENT THAT THE $350,000.00 Is <br />CUT. <br />THE BOARD DISCUSSED ESTABLISHING THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND <br />IT WAS SUGGESTED THAT THIS COMMITTEE BE MADE UP OF FIVE PEOPLE - <br />ONE FROM THE GIFFORD PROGRESSIVE CIVIC LEAGUE: - ONE FROM THE <br />GIFFORD JAYCEES: - TWO FROM THE WEST WABASSO AREA: - AND ONE MEMBER <br />AT -LARGE FROM THE GIFFORD AREA. CHAIRMAN LOY RECOMMENDED A SMALL <br />TECHNICAL COMMITTEE TO WORK ON THIS PROJECT WITH THE ADVISORY COM- <br />MITTEE AND SHE APPOINTED JACK G. .JENNINGS, VAL BRENNAN, AND COM- <br />MISSIONER SCHMUCKER TO THIS TECHNICAL COMMITTEE. <br />AFTER DISCUSSION A MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, <br />SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED <br />FILING THE FULL APPLICATION FOR DISCRETIONARY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT FUNDS UNDER THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />GIEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE APPOINTMENT OF AN <br />AN ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND THE TECHNICAL COMMITTEE DISCUSSED ABOVE. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER $IEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED HIRING CONSULTANTS ADLEY AND <br />ASSOCIATES TO PREPARE THE FULL APPLICATION FOR DISCRETIONARY <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS, AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED <br />$4,000.00. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER $IEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED ADVERTISEMENT OF TWO PUBLIC <br />HEARINGS ON APRIL 9TH AND 14TH, 1975 AT 7:30 O'CLOCK P.M.
