ROBERTA CHENOWITH FROM THE DIVISION OF FAMILY SERVICES IN <br />PALM BEACH COUNTY EXPLAINED THEIR PROJECT, <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE WOULD LIKE TO BE SUPPLIED WITH WHAT <br />THE COUNTY'S PARTICIPATION WAS LAST YEAR, WHAT IT IS THIS YEAR AND <br />WHAT IT WILL BE NEXT YEAR, <br />THE BOARD REQUESTED L,S, "TOMMY" THOMAS TO CHECK WITH PALM <br />BEACH COUNTY AND ANY OTHER AVAILABLE SOURCES ON HOW OTHER COUNTIES ARE <br />HANDLING THIS LOCAL MATCHING FUNDS AND REPORT BACK TO THE BOARD AT THE <br />NEXT MEETING, <br />THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR WAS INSTRUCTED TO PUT THIS ITEM ON <br />THE AGENDA FOR THE NEXT MEETING, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY GRANTED FINAL APPROVAL OF SQUIRE SUBDI- <br />VISION ON BEHALF OF WINTER BEACH LAND DEVELOPMENT COMPANY AS PRESENTED <br />BY S, PETE PMUSICK, <br />MR, S, PETE MUSICK, SURVEYOR, APPEARED REQUESTING FINAL <br />APPROVAL OF MAPLE VILLA SUBDIVISION ON BEHALF OF MR, AND MRS, ROBERT <br />GAGNON, <br />MR, MUSICK STATED THAT THIS SUBDIVISION IS SUB -STANDARD AS <br />FAR AS THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ROADS AND DRAINAGE IS CONCERNED, IT IS <br />A PRIVATE ROAD SUBDIVISION, AND THE COUNTY HAS NO RESPONSIBILITY TO <br />MAINTAIN THESE ROADS, THE DRAINAGE DITCH HAS BEEN DUG, BUT IT HAS NOT <br />BEEN DRESSED, THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED NEAR KINGS HIGHWAY AND SOUTH <br />WINTER BEACH ROAD, <br />THE GAGNONS HAD TRIED TO GET A PERMIT TO BUILD ON THIS PROPERTY, <br />AND THEY WERE DENIED, THEY ARE NOW TRYING TO GET A SUBDIVISION ON <br />RECORD IN ORDER TO BUILD AND ARE PLEADING THIS AS A HARDSHIP CASE, <br />COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER ASKED, "WHAT IS THE HARDSHIP?" <br />MR, MUSICK STATED THAT THE MAN HAS A BACK PROBLEM AND HAS BEEN <br />OUT OF WORK AND THERE ARE THREE CHILDREN, MR, MUSICK STATED THAT HE HAS <br />SEEN HOUSES HE HAD BUILT, AND THEY WERE WELL BUILT, HE HAS OWNED THIS <br />PROPERTY FOR ABOUT FIVE YEARS, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY GRANTED AN EXTENSION OF TENTATIVE APPROVAL <br />OF ONE YEAR OF MAPLE VILLA SUBDIVISION OWNED BY MR, AND MRS, ROBERT <br />GAGNON, IN 0, 'DER TO BRING THIS SUBDIVISION UP TO MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS, <br />-11- <br />APR 91975 <br />atom - RA6 <br />
