PRESENT FOR THIS PUBLIC HEARING WAS VAL BRENNAN, PLANNING DIRECTOR <br />AND BILL BRISSON, REPRESENTATIVE OF ADLEY AND ASSOCIATES, THE CONSULTANT <br />FIRM HIRED TO PREPARE THE FULL APPLICATIO(FOR DISCRETIONARY COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS UNDER THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974; <br />DAVID ELDELL, RALPH LUNDY, JERRY CUMMINGS, MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOP- <br />MENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE. JOSEPH IDLETTE, A MEMBER OF THIS ADVISORY COM- <br />MITTEE APPEARED, BUT DUE TO ANOTHER COMMITMENT HAD.TO LEAVE THIS MEETING. <br />APR 141975 <br />MR. BRENNAN INFORMED THE BOARD OF SEVERAL MINOR CHANGES MADE IN <br />THE APPLICATION AND HE REQUESTED AUTHORIZATION FOR THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN <br />THE APPLICATION SO THAT IT COULD BE DELIVERED TO THE EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA <br />REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL ON APRIL 15, 1975, HE STATED THAT THE FULL <br />APPLICATION WAS FILED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT, <br />DIVISION OF STATE PLANNING, AND WHEN THESE REVISIONS ARE APPROVED THEY WILL <br />BE FORWARDED TO THE STATE. <br />MR. BRISSON EXPLAINED TO THE BOARD THE REVISIONS MADE ON THE <br />APPLICATION. <br />THE CHAIRMAN ASKED IF ANYONE PRESENT WISHED TO BE HEARD; THERE <br />WERE NONE. <br />ON MOTION MADE BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCHMUCKER, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE SIGNATURE OF THE CHAIRMAN <br />ON THE REVISED APPLICATION FOR DISCRETIONARY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK <br />GRANT FUNDS; AND TO FILE THE REVISED PAGES OF THIS APPLICATION WITH <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT. <br />THE CHAIRMAN STATED THAT AN APPOINTMENT WITH H.U.D. OFFICIALS <br />WAS SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 18TH, 1975 IN .JACKSONVILLE TO REVIEW THIS APPLICA- <br />TION.
