THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR INFORMED THE BOARD OF A LETTER <br />RECEIVED FROM THE FLORIDA POWER,AND LIGHT COMPANY STATING THAT THEY <br />WANT TO MOVE THEIR TRANSMISSION LINES ON HOBART ROAD. THEY ARE GOING <br />TO APPROACH THE OWNERS OF THE PROPERTY IN THIS AREA FOR AN EASEMENT, <br />THE TRANSMISSION LINES WILL BE OFF COUNTY RIGHT-OF=WAY. THE PROBLEM <br />IS THEY WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH RIGHT-OF-WAY INDIAN RIVER COUNTY WILL <br />NEED IN THE FUTURE. <br />THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR CONTINUED THAT HOBART ROAD HAS A <br />30 FOOT RIGHT-OF-WAY. HE SUGGESTED THAT WE OBTAIN AN ADDITIONAL 50 <br />FEET MAKING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY 80 FEET BECAUSE OF THE ACTIVITY AT THE <br />KIWANIS-HOBART PARK AND THE FUTURE POSSIBILITY OF BICYCLE PATHS BEING <br />BUILT. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY REQUESTED AN ADDITIONAL 50 FOOT EASEMENT, <br />MAKING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG HOBART ROAD 80 FEET. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCHMUCKER, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN THE <br />FOLLOWING EASEMENTS. <br />7 <br />` 41975 <br />960 23 FACE 07 <br />
