ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />WODTKE, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED RESOLUTION 75-38 HONORING FORREST <br />N. McCULLARS, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AGRICULTURAL EXTENSION DIRECTOR, WHO <br />HAS RETIRED. <br />RESOLUTION No. 75-38 <br />WHEREAS, FORREST N. McCULLARS has served for the <br />last twenty-one years as Indian River County Agricultural <br />Extension Director; and <br />WHEREAS, due to bad health, he is being retired on <br />a medical disability retirement; and <br />WHEREAS, during his tenure, he instituted many new <br />programs which greatly assisted agriculture in Indian River <br />County, seeing 12,500 acres of citrus grow into 63,000 acres <br />of citrus, cattle production increase over 20%, and <br />WHEREAS, in 1973, the State of Florida selected In- <br />dian River County as having the best all around Agriculture <br />Extension Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida wishes to publicly acknowledge FORREST N. <br />McCULLARS for his diligence, hard work and excellent programs; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that it is sorry <br />he must retire, thanks him for his years of dedicated service <br />to agricultural interests in Indian River County, hopes that <br />his health improves, and wishes him success in future endeavors. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />By L 1c ) <br />Chairman <br />CierAC <br />Adopted: July 9, 1975 <br />
