ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCHMUCKER, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED AMENDMENT NUMBER TWO OF AN <br />AGREEMENT, DATED JUNE 21,14072, BETWEEN THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AND SVERDRUP & PARCEL AND ASSOCIATES, INC., AND BEINDORF AND ASSOCIATES, <br />INC., A JOINT VENTURE. <br />AMENDMENT NUMBER TWO TO AN AGREEMENT, DATED JUNE 21, 1972, <br />BETWEEN THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA AND SVERDRUP & PARCEL AND ASSOCIATES, INC., AND <br />BEINDORF AND ASSOCIATES, INC., A JOINT VENTURE <br />The Agreement is hereby amended to include new Paragraph G in <br />Section 0I as follows: <br />G. ACCESS PROVISION <br />1. The Engineer shall maintain books, records, documents and <br />other evidence directly pertinent to performance on EPA grant work under <br />this agreement in accordance with accepted professional practice, appro- <br />priate accounting procedures and practices, and 40 CFR Paragraphs 30.605, <br />30.805, and 35.935-7. The United States Environmental Protection Agency, <br />Comptroller General of the United States, the United States Department of <br />-labor, Indian River County, and the State Department of Environmental <br />.Regulations, or any other of their duly authorized representatives shall <br />-have access to such books, records, documents and other evidence for the <br />=purpose of inspection, audit and copying. The Engineer will provide proper <br />facilities for such access and inspection. <br />2. The Engineer agrees to include in all his contracts and all <br />.:-peer subcontracts directly related to project performance which are in <br />--excess of $10,000 the five (5) items of this Paragraph. <br />3. Audits conducted pursuant to this provision shall be .in accor- <br />:dance with generally accepted auditing standards and formerly established <br />audit regulations, procedures and guidelines of the reviewing or audit <br />.agency. <br />AUG 2 0 1975 <br />• <br />6001 23 PAGC230 <br />• <br />
