DR, SMITH INFORMED THE BOARD THAT ONE OF THE STIPULATED <br />PROCEDURES THE CONSULTING ENGINEERS MUST FOLLOW IS TO WORK WITH A <br />TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE WHICH SHOULD INCLUDE ONE PERSON FROM THE <br />FIVE MUNICIPALITIES; A REPRESENTATIVE FROM LOCAL AND COUNTY GOVERNMENT; <br />A MEMBER OF THE DEPARTMENT OF POLLUTION CONTROL; AND A MEMBER OF THE <br />EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL. <br />CHAIRMAN LOY STATED THAT THE BOARD WILL TAKE STEPS TO APPOINT <br />MEMBERS TO THIS TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND WILL MAKE A REQUEST <br />TO. THE MUNICIPALITIES FOR THEIR RECOMMENDATIONS, <br />CHAIRMAN LOY INFORMED DR, SMITH AND MR, BEINDORF THAT THE <br />BOARD POSTPONED DISCUSSION ON THE URBAN DEVELOPMENT UTILITY CONTRACT BE- <br />CAUSE OF THE COUNTY'S WATER ALLOCATION FIGURES RECEIVED FROM THE CITY OF <br />VERO BEACH AND INFORMED THEM THAT THE BOARD WILL NEED A REPORT EXPLAINING <br />THE COUNTY'S EXACT POSITION WITH THE CITY IN REGARD TO THIS WATER ALLOCA- <br />TION, U.D.U. MATTERS WILL BE HELD IN ABEYANCE UNTIL THE ENGINEERS CAN <br />PRESENT A REPORT TO THE BOARD ON THIS MATTER, <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE HAS PREPARED AN <br />APPROPRIATE RESOLUTION FOR THE PROPOSED REVISED FEE SCHEDULE AS PRESENTED <br />BY DONALD ADAMS, BUILDING DIRECTOR, FOR THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT, <br />THE BOARD AGREED THAT THIS PROPOSED FEE SCHEDULE BE HELD IN <br />ABEYANCE UNTIL THE CITY OF VERO BEACH APPROVES A FEE SCHEDULE IN ORDER <br />THAT FEES CHARGED CITY AND COUNTY RESIDENTS WILL BE THE SAME, <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS STATED THAT ON APRIL 28, 1975, THE COUNTY HELD <br />A:TAX DEED SALE ON TAX CERTIFICATES AND NO ONE BID ON THE FOLLOWING CER- <br />TIFICATES, ONE PARCEL IS IN LINCOLN PARK ESTATES SUBDIVISION, AND THE <br />.OTHER IS IN DR, RICHARD E. BULLINGTON SUBDIVISION. ATTORNEY COLLINS <br />CONTINUED THAT ACCORDING TO STATUTE 197.241, THE COUNTY COULD PURCHASE <br />THE PROPERTY FOR THE AMOUNT OF TAXES DUE AND RECEIVE A DEED IN THE <br />COUNTY'S NAME, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED TO PURCHASE A PARCEL OF PROPERTY <br />IN LINCOLN PARK ESTATES SUBDIVISION DESCRIBED AS THE WEST 20 FEET OF THE <br />EAST 60 FEET OF LOT 11 FOR THE AMOUNT OF $25.40 AND A PARCEL OF PROPERTY <br />IN DR, RICHARD E. BULLINGTON SUBDIVISION DESCRIBED AS THE NORTH 15 FEET <br />OF THE SOUTH 165 FEET OF THE WEST 105.75 FEET OF THE WEST J5 OF LOT 6, <br />- 24 - <br />AUG 2 01975 <br />Qnr <br />3 t*cr233 <br />
