DISTRICT HAS STATED THAT IF THE COUNTY REQUESTS AN EASEMENT FROM THEM <br />TO GRADE THESE ADDITIONAL ROADS, THEY WOULD GIVE IT, AND IT IS HIS <br />FEELING THAT THIS 3.8 MILES OF ROAD SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THIS MAIN- <br />TENANCE SCHEDULE, <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT REPLIED THAT THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF MILES <br />OF DIRT'ROADS THAT THE COUNTY DOES NOT OWN THROUGHOUT THIS ENTIRE COUNTY, <br />AND IF WE DO GRADING FOR ONE, HOW CAN WE NOT DO IT FOR ANOTHER. <br />JAMES ALEXANDER, ATTORNEY AND PROPERTY OWNER, STATED THAT THE <br />ROADS IN FELLSMERE.ARE BY USAGE AND PROBABLY THERE ARE NO PROPER RECORDS <br />AS TO OWNERSHIP, <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE STATED THAT IF THERE IS SOMEONE IN FELLS - <br />MERE THAT LIVES OUT FIVE MILES ON DITCH 12 AND BUILDS A HOUSE, THERE IS <br />NO WAY HE WOULD VOTE TO HAVE COUNTY EQUIPMENT GRADE THAT ROAD. HE CON- <br />TINUED THAT IF THERE ARE OTHER ROADS IN THIS AREA THAT SHOULD BE ON THE <br />LIST, WE MUST SIT DOWN WITH THE WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT IN ORDER TO <br />INCLUDE THEM, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCHMUCKER, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED TO ACCEPT THE EASEMENT DATED <br />OCTOBER 29, 1974, FROM THE FELLSMERE WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT; AUTHOR- <br />IZED THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY AND THE FELLSMERE.WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT. <br />-26- <br />$EP101975 <br />ROD <br />a <br />3 FACE 3 <br />
