COMMISSIONER WODTKE ASKED MR. HOFMANN HOW HE COULD BE SURE, <br />SINCE HE WILL ACTUALLY BE SELLING THESE 1/4 ACRES, THAT NEIGHBOR A <br />WILL KEEP HIS YARD UP AS WELL AS NEIGHBOR B. <br />MR. HOFMANN REPLIED THAT THEY WILL HAVE A LOT OF RESTRICTIVE <br />COVENANTS. HE FURTHER STATED THAT THEY WILL BE PLANTING QUITE A NUMBER <br />OF TREES ON THE PROPERTY AND HEDGES. ON THE PERIMETER TO CLOSE IT OFF <br />FROM THE ROAD. <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE ASKED IF THERE REALLY IS AN OPTION ON <br />HOW TO PAY THE TAX. <br />ATTORNEY HENDERSON STATED THAT THE KEY IS THE PERMANENT FOUNDA- <br />TION AND THE REMOVAL OF WHEELS. WHEN THIS IS DONE, THE OPTION IS NOT <br />AVAILABLE AS IT BECOMES A REGULAR SUBDIVISION, THIS DOES NOT APPLY <br />IN A RENTAL PARK. <br />COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER POINTED OUT THAT THE PROPOSED PROJECT <br />WILL BE A LOW DENSITY DEVELOPMENT, EQUIVALENT TO R-1, EVEN THOUGH WITH <br />THIS ZONING THEY COULD HAVE DOUBLE THE AMOUNT OF UNITS. HE STATED THAT <br />HE IS ON THE Low COST HOUSING COMMITTEE AND KNOWS THE COUNTY HAS GOT <br />TO HAVE SOME LOW COST HOUSING AND HE CAN'T SEE ANY OTHER WAY TO SUPPLY IT. <br />ROBERT BERG SAID HE FELT THE QUESTION WITH. REGARD TO A CHOICE <br />OF WAYS TO PAY TAX SHOULD BE RESEARCHED AS HE WAS NOT SURE THE:STATE- <br />MENTS MADE WERE CORRECT. <br />ATTORNEY HENDERSON ASKED THAT SOMEONE FROM THE PROPERTY <br />•APPRAISER'S OFFICE BE SENT FOR TO ANSWER THE QUESTION. <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY STATED THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO OPPOSE THIS <br />PROJECT BECAUSE.WE NEED ALL OF OUR AGRICULTURAL LAND, AND ALSO BECAUSE <br />IT IS NEAR A WATER RESERVE AREA AND IS A RESIDENTIAL AREA AT THIS TIME. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT SAID HE SAW NO NEED TO CONTINUE THE <br />PUBLIC HEARING, BUT IF IT WAS DESIRED TO POSTPONE THE DECISION UNTIL <br />THE NEXT MEETING SO THEY COULD DO SOME MORE RESEARCH, HE WOULD BE <br />AGREEABLE. <br />CHAIRMAN LOY AGREED AND SAID SHE WAS NOT READY TO MAKE A <br />DECISION TODAY.
