10 ACRE SITE LOCATED OFF NORTH JIFFORD ROAD IN THE AREA OF THE MIDDLE <br />SEVEN SCHOOL, THIS PROPERTY IS KNOWN AS VERO BEACH BURIAL PARK, <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS CONTINUED THAT HE HAD AN ABSTRACT OF TITLE <br />PREPARED, AND IT APPEARS THAT THE COUNTY HAS NO OWNERSHIP WHATEVER IN <br />THE BURIAL PARK. THE PROPERTY IS OWNED BY VERO BEACH CEMETARY INC., A <br />NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION, <br />THE BOARD AGREED THAT AN INVESTIGATION BE MADE TO SEE IF THERE <br />IS AN ACTIVE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND THE TAX STATUS BE REVIEWED WITH HOMER. <br />s <br />FLETCHER, PROPERTY APPRAISER. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS PRESENTED A TRIPARTITE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />COUNTY, THE CITY, AND INDIAN RIVER COMMUNITY COLLEGE IN WHICH THE COUNTY <br />WILL RELINQUISH THE AREA OF THE NEW COLLEGE SITE TO THE CITY FOR THE <br />PROVISION OF WATER AND SEWER SERVICE, <br />THE COMMUNITY COLLEGE WILL REQUIRE 31,500 GALLONS PER DAY OF <br />WATER, AND IF THE GALLONAGE GOES OVER THAT AMOUNT, THE OVERAGE WILL BE <br />APPLIED AGAINST THE CITY OF VERO BEACH ALLOCATION AND,NOT THE COUNTY'S <br />ALLOCATION. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS DISCUSSED A LETTER FROM DR, PAUL TAYLOR, CHAIR— <br />MAN OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF INDIAN RIVER MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, DATED <br />SEPTEMBER 19, 1975, WHICH WILL ALLOW THE VERO MED GROUP TO USE WATER <br />THAT WAS ALLOCATED TO THE HOSPITAL.. • <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS EXPRESSED CONCERN REGARDING THE HOSPITAL ALLOCA— <br />TING WATER TO A THIRD PARTY WITHOUT THE COUNTY COMMISSION'S APPROVAL, <br />THE BOARD AGREED THAT IF THE HOSPITAL WISHES TO RELEASE SOME OF <br />THEIR WATER ALLOCATION TO THE VERO MED GROUP, IT SHOULD BE DONE BY COUNTY <br />AGREEMENT WHICH WOULD REDUCE THE HOSPITAL'S ALLOCATION, THE HOSPITAL <br />CAN MAKE AN OFFICIAL REQUEST TO US TO ALLOW A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF THEIR <br />ALLOCATION TO BE USED BY THE VERO MED GROUP, <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS STATED THAT ANY AMENDMENT TO THE TRIPARTITE <br />AGREEMENT WOULD HAVE TO INVOLVE ALL THREE PARTIES, THE HOSPITAL, THE <br />COUNTY AND THE CITY OF VERO BEACH, <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT STATED THAT THE HOSPITAL SHOULD BE NOTIFIED <br />THAT ANY TRANSFERRING OF THEIR ALLOCATION OF WATER SHOULD BE APPROVED <br />BY THE COUNTY COMMISSION, <br />OCT 81975 <br />L , mss. <br />-, inti. ,,�._.. <br />4 <br />1 <br />BOOK 24 ?AGE 04 <br />
