ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE. SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT. THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL OF <br />THE ARDEN INSURANCE COMPANY FOR FIDELITY COVERAGE I EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, <br />1975. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS RETURNED TO THE MEETING AT 10:50 O'CLOCK <br />A.M. <br />THE BOARD AGAIN DISCUSSED THE INCREASE IN INSURANCE COVERAGE <br />FOR COUNTY BUILDINGS AND CONTENTS. <br />CHAIRMAN LOY STATED THAT THE BOARD IS OF A MIND TO ACCEPT <br />MR. ARDEN'S RECOMMENDATIONS, BUT THEY WOULD LIKE ADDITIONAL <br />COMPARISON FIGURES. <br />SHERIFF SAM JOYCE WAS PRESENT FOR THIS DISCUSSION REGARDING <br />HIS LETTER TO THE BOARD STATING THAT UPON INVESTIGATION OF THE COUNTY <br />JAIL BY THE FIRE MARSHALL FROM THE CITY OF VERO BEACH, CERTAIN CORRECTIVE <br />MEASURES MUST BE TAKEN TO BRING THE JAIL UP TO STANDARD REQUIREMENTS. <br />CHAIRMAN LOY QUESTIONED MR. ARDEN IF THIS EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDED <br />BY THE FIRE MARSHALL IS INSTALLED WILL THIS HELP THE COUNTY IN THEIR <br />RATING AT THE JAIL. <br />MR. ARDEN STATED THAT THIS WILL NOT LOWER THE RATES - THE RATES <br />ARE BASED ON THE STRUCTURE. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT) SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER, <br />SCHMUCKER, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED THE REQUEST FROM SHERIFF JOYCE <br />TO PROCEED WITH CORRECTIVE MEASURES TO BRING THE JAIL UP TO STANDARD <br />REQUIREMENTS, AS STATED BY THE FIRE MARSHALL FROM THE CITY OF VERO BEACH, <br />AT AN APPROXIMATE COST OF $1,000.00 AND THAT THE FINANCE OFFICER, JACK <br />HOCKMAN) INVESTIGATE THE POSSIBLE USE OF REVENUE SHARING FUNDS. <br />'�. CHAIRMAN LOY INFORMED THOSE PRESENT THAT NEXT ON THE AGENDA <br />IS A CONTINUATION OF PUBLIC HEARINGS HELD ON SEPTEMBER 1OTH AND 24TH, 1975, <br />ON CUSTOMER SERVICE, INC. SEWER AND WATER FRANCHISE. <br />RICHARD BOGOSIAN, ATTORNEY REPRESENTING CUSTOMER SERVICE, INC., <br />A SUBSIDIARY OF LAUREL HOMES, INC., JOSEPH ROBINSON, PRESIDENT; PETER <br />ROBINSON, VICE PRESIDENT; AND BOB SHUTTS, PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER, WERE <br />PRESENT FOR THIS DISCUSSION. <br />MR.
