ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />WODTKE, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY GRANTED TENTATIVE APPROVAL FOR SEA OAKS <br />SUBDIVISION UNIT'l, OWNED BY EARL PADGETT. <br />THE BOARD RECESSED AT 11:50 O'CLOCK A.M. AND RECONVENED AT <br />1:30 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />VAL BRENNAN, PLANNING DIRECTOR APPEARED AND INFORMED THE BOARD <br />THAT AS PER THEIR INSTRUCTIONS HE CONTACTED ROBERT D. CASSELL, JR. <br />FEDERAL INSURANCE ADMINISTRATOR REGARDING SCHEDULING A MEETING TO <br />DISCUSS FLOOD INSURANCE PROGRAM FOR THE UNINCORPORATED AREA OF THE COUNTY. <br />MR. BRENNAN STATED THAT A MEETING WAS SCHEDULED TENTATIVELY FOR NOVEMBER <br />12TH AT 9:00 O'CLOCK A.M. IN THE COUNTY COMMISSION ROOM. HE CONTINUED <br />THAT MR. CASSELL HAS STATED THAT HE WILL MEET WITH THE FIVE MUNICIPALITIES. <br />INDIVIDUALLY AND WILL MAKE HIS OWN ARRANGEMENTS. <br />THE BOARD AGREED TO MEET WITH MR. CASSELL ON NOVEMBER 12TH AT 9:00 <br />dCLOCK AND MR. BRENNAN WILL CONFIRM THIS MEETING. <br />THE BOARD SUGGESTED THAT THE BOARD OF REALTORS, BIG 'In,`ENGINEERSJ <br />AND MEMBERS OF THE SUBDIVISION REVIEW COMMITTEE BE INVITED TO ATTEND THIS <br />MEETING. <br />CHAIRMAN LOY DISCUSSED A LETTER RECEIVED FROM .JULIE LIVESAY, <br />PRESIDENT OF THE ROCKRIDGE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION REGARDING GUARD <br />RAILS BEING CONSTRUCTED ALONG ROCKRIDGE BLVD. ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH <br />SIDE TO PREVENT CARS FROM GOING INTO THE DITCH WHERE EACH STREET DEAD-ENDS <br />AT ROCKRIDGE BLVD. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE, <br />THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED REFERRING THIS REQUEST TO THE COUNTY AD <br />MINISTATOR SO THAT HE, IN TURN, CAN REQUEST AN INVESTIGATION BY THE DE- <br />PARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION REGARDING THE FEASIBILITY OF THIS REQUEST FROM <br />THE ROCKRIDGE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION, AND REPORT BACK TO THE BOARD. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT AT THE JULY 23, 1975 MEET- <br />ING A LETTER FROM C.W. GAIDRY WAS DISCUSSED. MR, GAIDRY INFORMED THE <br />BOARD THAT THERE WAS AN ENCROACHMENT PROBLEM BORDERING ON HIS PROPERTY ALONG <br />CITRUS ROAD TO RANGELINE ROAD, AND HE WOULD AGREE TO SELL TO THE COUNTY AP- <br />PROXIMATELY 12 FEET BY 1.5 MILES , IN ORDER TO REMOVE THE ENCROACHMENT ON <br />CITRUS ROAD. <br />AT THE AUGUST 6TH, 1975 MEETING THE BOARD DISCUSSED BUYING THIS <br />34 <br />OCT 2 2 1975 <br />1 <br />HOPI 24 PGE 6 <br />
